The Canadian Robotics Competition is a non-for-profit organization that allows for students all over the country to profit from a reasonably priced educational experience that allows for the development on subjects in the science, arts, and literature domains. The CRC was found in 2001 by a group of individuals who started the ball rolling to make science an accessible activity. The CRC is run by former participants who wish to give the younger generations a fun packed event that has captured the hearts of thousands of students over the years. The competition is a three-day action-packed event, but that only encompasses the actual event days. The competition itself spans from the first day school starts up, to the day of the event, with a series of workshops aimed to help develop the skills required to organize a team, plan, and build a robot, website, program, and so much more. Over the span of 4-5 months, student put their nose to the grindstone and work their butts off to be ranked as highly as possible in the following multidisciplinary domains: Robot design/construction, kiosk/pitch, video, website, tutorial, and programming. The competition is hosted by a school that participates, and due to the host school being in Montreal, the CRC promises a bilingual experience which promotes equity and teamwork. This years competition is called Invicta 2021 and will be taking place between the week of April 15 to 17. To learn more about the competition and what it has to offer, follow Robotique CRC Robotics
